How can i change my sleeping routine? I have tried a lot but it doesn't work!

Question: I don't fall asleep in the night at all. And it is 6 am or 7 am, by the time i actually do fall asleep. Because of that i am not able to wake up before 3:30 pm to 4 pm. And then its almost evening time!

Such routine makes me a night owl. I want to be a morning person -- the kind that wakes up at 6 to 7 am and goes to bed by 10:30 to 11 pm.

But it is too tough for me to do the conversion. How should i change it?

Only use your bed for sleeping, not for anything else. Get up at the same time every morning, and before you know it, you'll adjust to being tired earlier. Your body runs out of cortisol, a hormone that regulates the sleep-wake cycle. When it runs out, you sleep and replenish it. So, wind down and relax before you want to sleep. Don't eat for 2 hours before going to sleep. If something is on your mind, get it out of your head and write it on paper. Don't exercise before bed time. Take a bath/shower and begin the wind down at least an hour or more before you want to fall asleep. Think on only pleasant thoughts and pray to Jehovah in Jesus name. Sweet Dreams :)

Omg same thing here. Please email me when you get a good answer. Good luck. Thanks

You need an obligation at 7 or 8 am. If you get a job, or a class that early, you will force yourself to get up. The first few days will suck but you will adjust fast.

If you can get your hands on some anti-depressants or opiates that stuff will put you out fast. :) enjoy safely!

i know i find it hard sleeping early too. but i heard that problem comes around with puberty.
I would suggest going to bed around 9pm-ish (if your going to wake up at 6am) and take a book or a puzzle with. Read or do the puzzled until 9:30 or if you want 10ish (if your going to wake up at 7am) it should make your brain a little tired and help you fall asleep.

Let me know if this works...best of luck sleeping lol!!
