Exercise/workout question - body building -?!


Question: I used to work out, but I never stayed to my routine. I would exercise for a few days, then stop and then after a couple of weeks start again, but I have never sticked to a routine.
- I was just wondering, if anyone knew a good way to stick to your routine , or
- If anyone knows a workout routine that is not over a long period of time and effective.

Try to find out why you are not sticking to it. Maybe is the type of workout you are doing or you are just bored. Working out does not necessarily mean you have to go to the gym and do weight lifting. Re-consider your reason(s) for working out; for example, is it to loose weight, or to build muscle, or to tone up, etc. Then, find out an activity that is fun for you and that you can include in your everyday life. Get yourself a buddy (sometimes that makes a big difference). If you have a partner, try to get your partner to work out with you. Gyms now offer personal training for couples. I have been told that it brings on a competitive factor into the workout and motivates people quite a bit. If you can not get a "buddy", then start by trying an activity that you like (i.e. bike riding, roller blading, dancing, etc.) and then move it into a more specific workout that would match your goals. I hope this helps you, I know it's tough but you have to push yourself.

do every other day or at least 3 times a week and see how much better you will feel. For a way to stick to it you have to make yourself do it .
