Answers: Would a MRI show up any lumps in my breast if I had it done onmy neck and lower back, Just curious.

Spinal MRIs show only the spinal area and very little else. The field of view includes only the spine, the MRI for breast would be a very different set of images. I included a couple of links that will show you what spine MRIs look like. MRIs are very specific to the anatomy of interest. MRI image size is important, the smaller the image that covers that area to be seen the better the detail. Detail is very important when looking at the spine so the field of view is kept tight to the spine. Occasionally something may show up with the kidneys or the uterus areas since they are in line with the spine, but it would not be a common find.

It could but not usually,

also you have to remember if you add contrast or not,
