Sleeping in class - I NEED HELP!!!?!


Question: I fall asleep in class ALL the time. School starts at 7:15, so I wake up at 6:00 when it's still dark. No matter how much sleep I get, whether it is 8 hours or 4 hours, I always fall asleep in class! No matter how much I try to stay awake during class, I always somehow end up with my eyes closed, falling asleep! Especially when I take notes in class, I start to fall asleep WHILE trying to take the notes, and it does not come out legible at all. I'm missing out on a lot of information and I'm afraid it is leading to my senioritis!!

Well, main question, how do I stop falling asleep in class?

Try getting some carbs in the morning...they give you energy throughtout the day. If not, then go see a doctor!

try red bull. it really works for me

get more sleep, im sure a solid 12 hours will do it. if not, deal with it and get notes from friends

Do you eat breakfast? There could be something wrong with your diet and you're not getting enough energy. Either way, you should consult a doctor. There could be something wrong with your body and it's necessary to get everything tested and whatnot.

You need to go to sleep earler and drink/eat something that gives you energy.....like coffee!! yummm

NO ENERGY DRINKS go to ur local drug store and look for 5 or 6hour energy its a little drink but has no crash

Consider having some sort of caffeine (coffee, Red Bull, Rockstar,etc.) in the morning. It comes in many different forms. If you've already tried caffeine and get plenty of rest then you may have a condition you may want to see the Dr. about. It all depends on if you're feeling tired throughout the day.

I used to fall alseep writing notes too and when I woke up I must have been writing something out of my dream because the notes had nothing to do with my studies.

You sound like you could have a serious illness. Talk to your doctor about because that's not normal.
