Norovirus and scared of sick. Please help!?!

Question: Im really scared of sick, and germs.
This morning I was talking to this girl at school, then this afternoon in one of my classes, 3 people were started to get the norovirus (feeling sick, throwing up)
and one of them was the girl I was talking to this morning.
Will I get it?
Im so scared, whats the chances of me getting it?
When will start getting the symptoms?
Please help my family and friends are getting annoyed by me keep asking about it.
Also, I have the same class tomorrow, should I try and skip it so I lower my chances of getting sick.

Your not the only one, I feel exactly the same and I'm just as worried!!
I heard on the news or this morning or something that 1 in 20 people will have it. So for every 20 people you know 1 will get it. My friend had it, someone I work with, my mums friend and a little boy that I babysit. Most of those were before or over christmas though. And the people in your class that were just feeling sick, are u sure they weren't just saying that to get out of class? Even if that isn't true tell yourself that to make yourself feel better!!

Hello, if you start skipping and hiding you will cause your fear to grow. Its a virus, it lasts 2 days and it causes vommiting, diarrhea, nausea, chills. Basically you shouldn't share drinks, food with anyone infected-best practice would be to NEVER share things like that- and WASH your hands after touching doorknobs, school computers, and things that infected people came in contact with-Symptoms of norovirus illness usually begin about 24 to 48 hours after ingestion of the virus, but they can appear as early as 12 hours after exposure...
