It depends on the organization that you have your certification through. Some are every year some are up to every 3 years. It also depends on if you need if for a job or not. If you have only had the class once or twice I would recommend redoing it at least once a year as a refresher. CPR is about saving someone's life, not a great thing to be rusty on.
