If they are just looking and not touching or doing any tests...

They can tell if you have a rash, have jaundice, bloodshot eyes, dialated pupils, obviosuly feverish (sweating and red usually). They can get a general feel for what part of you is hurt based on what you cradle or what you are being gentle with. They can tell if you have obvious broken bones based on symmetry between your right and left sides. As well they can get a general idea of your alertness and certain perception abilities based on how you react to their presence.

If they watch you walk, they can tell whether your gait is correct or if your stride puts undue stress on particular joints.

.

if your fat

Just by looking at you? Well, you can tell how someone is breathing, whether you're breathing hard or using accessory muscles to breath. If you're overweight. If you're unusually pale it may be a sign of anemia. If you're flushed it could be a sign of a fever. Depending on what you're wearing they can see any bruising or rashes.

Man, there's a ton of things! Is there something specific you're looking for?

Jaundiced
Anorexic
obese
?????
What a strange question....

Amazingly a doctor can tell a lot by looking at you, I know this from having to take care of people myself and looking at people with diseases. The basic is they can tell if you circulation is good....being the capilaries in your hands and feet are supple and your skin color in your feet and hands is not gray or blue or black......or ashen-white......also to note in how a person appears alone is swelling and where the swelling is, puffy eyes, swollen feet.......people who are having a stroke look and can appear a very specific way, as with people in the clutches of a heart attack. Diseases take on an appearance, lets say some one suffering active tuberculosis would look extremely skeletal with a swollen tummy and may have a horrible cough.Someone with a liver in trouble and even failure would have the side where the liver is on, be swollen noticibly so.Dry skin, where it is and how much tells a doctor a lot as well. How long you carry an injury such as a scratch or a bruise can reveal its share to a doctor as well.Good luck
