Is 4 hours of sleep inadequate for a 17 year old?!


Question: I'm almost 18 now and I average about 4 hours of sleep each night (it really fluctuates, sometimes I sleep 30 minutes, 2 hours or 7 hours.)
What are some detriments to this?

yes you should get like 8 and more if you work out

it's inadequate for anyone....... you should actually be getting around 8-9 hours., then it goes down to 7 hours or 7.5 hours when you get older.

yeap u need to sleep more,better 8 hrs per day.consult ur DR asap 4 the betterment of 2morow.

Sure do. Nowaday, teens doesn't need much energy to pass the day on the internet.
I have to work 8 hrs a day. I only need 5 hrs of sleep in the week days and 9 hrs in the week end.

You should get at least 7 hours of sleep a night.

It would be good for you to get more sleep if you can.
