An awkward situation between me and a radiology technician? What would you do?!
Question: I was gettting an x-tray exam, and the radiology technician was a man. Of course, I do the usual things like taking all my clothes off and wear the gown. (wearing my underwear of course)..then when I was wearing my gown, the radiology technician said I look pretty and innocent ..He went on and asked if I had any siblings. I said I have 3 more sisters. He also asked, "are you the prettiest girl in the family?" I was like..what the heck..why is he asking me all these strange questions..I kinda ignored him. Everything went fine during the exam, except his question made me feel very uncomfortable. I know it's normal for guys to give comments to girls..saying how pretty/beautiful they look, many guys give me this comment actually, but he is a radiology technician and my clothes were off, so that's a different story. I think I look okay.i hope i'm not asking a very personal question on yahoo..I'm female. I'm not showing off my look..i hope..

Asking about the sibs is pretty common but the rest made it creepy. I would have requested that someone else be present after that.

whoa. That is really weird for a radiology tech to do that. Especially if your under 18. If you are i would tell your mom what he said because she should know right away. I remember i was outside once while a house was getting built and this guy was like taunting me a little and just thought it was weird. im 15
How old was the guy? If he was within 10 years of your age, I'd file a formal complaint with the office or hospital. That's not an appropriate line of questioning when a young lady had no clothes on. He sounds like a pervert.

if it happens again, state that the comments are innapropriate. If you still feel there is an issue or you want to do something about it, contact the place you went to and ask to speak to the 'big boss' and explain what the issue is and state that you do/do not want action to be taken but want to prevent any future problems between you and the tech, or that you want to make sure he is not taking advantage of patients while in a vulnurable position (being naked, or close to)
theres not much point taking the issue to court unless you find it is a major problem, the best thing is to just make sure it doesnt happen again, with you or any future patients of his.
