Smelly faeces?!

Question: I eat healthily enough, but my faeces are always smelly and so are my blow-offs. What can I do to stop this and what could be causing it?

Yes, check your diet by eliminating one different item every few days.
Beans have sugars in them that some of us lack the ability to digest.
The same is true for some people with milk sugars. If you are farting a lot it is likely because of this. What happens is the undigested sugars become food for anaerobic bacteria in our lower intestines. They produce a lot of methane and some hydrogen sulfide gas.
There are problems if you are eating a lot of roughage too because we are not meant to digest the cellulose either.

If it is beans there are enzyme tablets for that. Otherwise I can only suggest a fast of at least one day followed by a good serving of full culture yogurt to restore the lacto bacillus to you guts.
But yeah, play around with what foods you eat. Your sh*t will likely always stink just like everybody else's but hopefully not worse.
I think the farts are more of an indication though. If you are farting a bit no big deal but if you are constantly ripping of huge barn clearing stenchers then there is something you are eating that your body is not equipped to digest the sugars or starches in.

Just be sure to keep your pores clean. Some people have found that excessively oily skin carries with it an unpleasant odour. When you shower, be sure to wash your face thoroughly with soap and warm water. Also, when you first wake up, and before you go to bed.

I don't think there are any facial deodorants (but I suppose you could experiment with your regular underarm deodorant if you'd like...)

YA: Always a trip.

I have no idea.

I guess just be glad it's out of you.

And make sure you're upwind.

do you eat a lot of lentils (beans, sprouts, etc.) ... this will do it ... you need a balanced diet not too much of any one thing ... not sayin' your sh!t won't stink ... but may aleviate noxious gasses

ha ha the 1st answer made me laugh soooooooooo confused!!!! charcoal tablets from chemist may help

Usually it's the food you eat that causes odor.

Curries, beans onions etc tend to cause bad odor.

If you eat alot of a food that may make bad odor try eating something different. Have variety in your meals like meats and salads. And eat alot of fibrous foods and cereals.

It is spelled Feces, not faeces. That's probably why other people are getting confused as to what you are asking.

Girls don't poop! Silly.

You are eating healthy foods, but you are combining them wrong. Do not eat sugar with anything. It will ferment everything in your system, and if your system is not functioning at peak, everything hanging around in there will begin to turn very nasty. You also need to drink enough water, but not during your meals. Wait one hour, then drink water. As far as sugar goes, if you have to consume it, it is probably better to do so a few hours before you eat real food.

Check your diet and eating habits. If you're eating lots of beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, dairy and high fiber foods, there's a good chance you'll be gassy.

Your feces and flatulence are supposed to smell. I think that's normal--it's the crap that your body doesn't need. But if it's more foul than usual, then you should check if you're suffering from malabsorption.

My sh|t smells like roses!
