Seriously though, they cremate them and the ashes get buried at the local county cemetery in a mass grave. Not just legs and arms. Anything that gets removed from the body that is large, gets the same treatment. Tumors get treated as medical waste but still get burnt up to prevent disease transmission.
I had a rib removed and they couldn't let me have it. It was right after the big Aids scare and they changed the rules so you can't have your parts anymore. I wanted it to make a woman from like Adam had. :-)
