That is soooo wierd, I was talking to my other half earlier saying that's what I was going to do, although I was going to specify "Doctors" I want to keep my organs, just in case Brown is not still PM then!!
You may feel strongly about the issue now, and may still feel as strongly about it later, but chances are you will grow out of that tattoo. The way you express yourself now, is probably going to change as you age... leaving you in a position of regret.

Me.....I will let the medical profession have mine. To teach with, to use as transplants or whatever.
I would do that no matter who is PM.

Well, I think it's a great idea. As you say, you may or may not want to be a donor, which is like most of us. The trouble is many of us won't make the choice and we'll simply die without having made one. This means our relatives will have to make that decision instead. Not a very easy or fair call to make.
So, I think it's an excellent idea, and if your son, daughter, sister, brother, mother or father (or even you) benefits, you'll be the first to agree. If you really don't agree. Say so and your organs can be worm food as you wish and the teenage in the road crash can die instead of taking your donation.

You are right; it is not the state's right to take away your organs. The proposed scheme would be opt-out and if you wish for your organs not to be donated then you could make your wishes understood by; at most going into your local surgery or more likely phoning up of going online. I think the scheme would be a good idea as many people don't care either-way and never get round to filling out the form so their organs are wasted when they would have been happy for them to be used saving a life or even lives. No one if forcing anyone to donate their organs if they do not wish it so.
It sounds to me that you will only manage to tattoo the first word on your tool as you sound like a wee pric-k!!
You might change your mind if you saw all those who are dying due to lack of donors. Its only going to be fried or buried anyway you don't need it any more!
Why the hell do we have to give organs to save someones life who never looked after his or hers when they were young. We really need healthy people to live, and not the sick, let them die out. Were not about to run out of people, are we.?
