Question: Please help, im 15 years old and for as long as i can remember ive seen strange lights in my visiual field. i remember noticing them when i was younger at the age of 5 or 6. but they were very insignificant and didnt really bother me so i never told anyone. They gradually intensified and then about two or three years ago they got very bad, they became abundant across my entire field of vision, it was then that i knew it wasnt normal, i went to an eye doctor with my mom but the doctor said nothing was wrong with my eyes. so, there was nothing i could do about it. but about a half of year ago it intensified even more. i went to an eye doctor, and deja vu, he couldnt find anything wrong, but he referred me to a neurologist and i underwent a couple tests like catscans and stuff, but again nothing was found. I really dont know what to do know, the best way i can describe it to you is like this, i see glaring, burning, flashes of light that form many shapes of different sizes, colors and

The problem may be psychological. Images you see are taken in through the eyes and into the brain where they get sorted out and tell you what you see. It may not be a problem with your eyes, but some kind of malfunction in your brain that causes the processing of images to come out as you see them with those lights.

Note that I am not a doctor, nor do I have any medical training. This is just a theory.
