Smelly feet solution?!

Question: My boyfriend has really smelly feet - it smells like a sweaty wet towel or a gym locker room.

I'm thinking it's because his shoes are old (he wears them everyday). I'm not super-sensitive to smells, but the odor is downright paralyzing and even spreads to any blanket, pillow that he uses. You would assume that the smell from the blankets and pillows would go away, but it doesn't...it lingers until I wash them!

I'll suggest him buying new shoes next time, but are there any other solutions? I don't want to offend him by asking him wash his feet because they smell, but it just smells horribly awful.

He's hygenic, but I think it's one of thoses cases where everyone knows of the smell except for the person who actually is causing it!

I'm sorry, but I think you're just going to have to tell him his feet smell. If he loves you, he won't be offended... but be sure to tell him that you don't mean to offend him, but that you're telling him because you love him and want him to be healthy.

Realize that the bad feet smell comes from his shoes, so even if he treats his feet, it won't go away. One thing to try might be to put his shoes in a plastic ziplilck bag or other plastic bag and put them in the freezer for as long as you can. It kills bacteria.

put baby powder in his shoes, or just come out and say, hey your feet stink! and get him some medical stuff for it.

Wash them ...ha-ha no I'm sorry . That's a good question some people do have that problem and it's not funny , but soak them in Vinager a couple times a day for at least 10 -15 min. after washing them with soap and water . ..that will help alot .
