Has There Ever Been A Case Where Someone Has Been Pronounced Dead...?!

Question: ...only to then be revived? Or have miraculously found themselves back amongst the living? If so, could you please provide links? I am also interested in cases where people have been on life support systems or in comas where the prognosis from the doctors was that it would be better to turn off the life support and let them pass on, only for the person to then recover to lead long and healthy lives.

Any info and/or links much appreciated.

Many thanks

The obvious one is that 'Canoeist'... but perhaps you want some 'real' examples?

I don't have links to provide you with, I have personal experience.
In 1980, my "baby" brother was born dead. He was a little more than 2 months premature, and the prognosis wasn't good even after they successfully revived him. Now he is 27, 6'4", and a very handsome man!
In May of 1999, my mother was put on life support, she had emphysema. My step father and doctors agreed it would be best to take her off, and just let her go. They did, and she ended up coming home, living until June of 2003. When she was put on life support the last time, doctors said she probably wouldn't have such a miraculous recovery again. I think she did though. I believe it had to be some kind of miracle for her to finally let go of her physical self, to move on and away from the pain.

There have been a few incidents where people were pronounced dead and then they return to conciousness a couple days later. I don't know any links, but you can go to google and type in things like:
"Accidently Burried Alive"
"Man Accidently Burried Alive"
"Women Accidently Burried Alive"
... And things like that. I hope you find what you want.
