Temperature question?!
Question: so im sick with an upset stomach had 4 awhile though anyway i had diaherra last nite and now when i take my temperature its between 96.3 and 97.0 i cant get it any higher to normal 98.0+98.6 so how come and is this normal???? please help!!

When sick with a virus, your body reacts by raising and lowering body temperature to try and create an environment that kills the virus.
That's why you alternate between chilling and sweating with fever.
Yes, this is normal especially if you just drank something.
Yes, that temp is normal. The 98.6 that people talk about is more of an average. Some people are a little below it and some people are a little above. I was told 95 and under or 100 and up are cause for worry.
Take a really warm bath. After you get used to the heat...gradually add hotter water until it is as hot as you can stand.
It is okay - the temp. If consistently low, you could be having thyroid problems.
For the upset stomach, put 1/4 tsp ginger (ground from the spice cabinet) in hot water, add honey. Ginger is great for settling your stomach - hence the ginger ale when people are sick. Ginger tea is better since it doesn't contain refined sugar.
