What fruit can I eat to help me get over my cold/flu?!
Question: Vitamin C is important.
In fact i would recommend that rather than juicing everything, just eat it. Orange juice is great --- whole oranges are better.
Red peppers eaten raw have 3x as much vitamin C as oranges.
Dark-green veggies for colds also have much more vitamin C than oranges and other citrus fruits.
Vitamin A is also important, and if you eat your dark-green veggies you will have all you can use.
You eat all the healthful foods you can stand, and you just get healthier and healthier. If you are fat -- you get thinner. If you are thin -- you get heavier.

There's a couple of herbs that will help you rid yourself of this cold quicker, and build up your immunity. I haven't had so much as a cold for over 10 years. They are called Echinacea and Goldenseal, often you find them mixed. This stuff is incredible. I used to swear by vitamin C, but that's like nothin' compared to this. Try it, you'll be a lot healthier.
peace
No food will honestly cure a virus! but onions and garlic are reputed to be good for the immune system.
Also a tea made with chamomile tea( muscle relaxant so good for aches and pains), honey ( anti biotic properties), and lemon ( vit c) is also good- helps keep fluids up too!
other than that try rest, fluids and paracetamol
basically, any fruit would do. but the most effective and high on vitamin C would be the orange. but if you have a preference for apple then, fine! (i did mention it was common so naturally it ain't original- my answer that is...)
