I think i have a flu bug?!


Question: i cant hold anything down. this morning i took a sip of water to get rid of my "morning mouth" (that dry cotteny feeling you sometimes get in the morning) and i threw up a minute later. my mom told me to eat a popsicle, and i did, but my stomach hurts really bad now.

i have a bad headache, and i think i'm dehydrated, but i cant drink the water. what should i do?

fill a cup with some ice n crunch it up! take only a coule little ice chips every 15 minutes! keep doing that until u can hold it down! then when u can! start drinking water then go to crackers n bread n little stuff then eat ur normal meals! if u r still going to the bathroom then ur not dehydrated!! i hope u feel better! P.S. don't take any medicine until u can hold down water!

    • drink plenty of fluids...especially with electrolites...like gatorade. if it gets worse then go to the doctor.
    I would try to drink some kind of non acid juice (like apple) that way if you puke it up then it won't burn. Also try sucking on ice cubes.

    I used to eat crackers & although it gets tiring after awhile, it helps.
