There is a possibility you may be expecting. I had some of the same pains and the Doctor said the uterus is expanding.

Or it could be your kidneys you could be drinking to many dark drinks and caffeine. Try drinking straight water for the next 2 days.

Either a stitch or a pulled muscle. Either way, a cold pack, a couple of painkillers and lying on your front with hands under your chin should help...

it sounds like it could be something that you need to ask your doctor about, or even webmd.

Go to your doctor!!!!!

idk but it happens to me too... maybe if you are going through normal things that girls go through i guess.. well your not the only one

If its not just a bruse then you better check with a doctor.

usually for me it's because slept funny and pinched a nerve, but you may want to call a doctor

SAME HERE!!! i dont know! im thinking it might be cramps and such. maybe, maybe not. who knows.

is it by your kiddneys? i had that once, it goes away after a few days, just bare with it, althought it could be hard

Growing pain. Sometimes, as your bodies grow and change, things can hit a nerve. It'll go away soon.

sounds serious... go to the doctor... you don't want to mess around if it's something serious!!

something involving kidneys? Maybe kidney stones... No clue. See a doctor

It could be scar tissue from your fallopian tubes or something serious. See a DR ASAP.

WELL not to sound rude but where it sounds like you are explaining the pain is it sounds like it is your kidneys that are hurting..but we are not docters so please go to the hospital before something happens instead of waiting on here for the awnser.

maybe your appendix thats what happened to me and it sucks but deff go to your docter right away!!

ok it could be your kidney or something else

i dont knkow theres another organ that u can live with out over there i think

sounds like a kidney stone.....drink lots of water if it still hurts after a day or so see a Dr. they can be dangerous

Try taking a gas reliever. When I have that pain it's usually a gas pocket that's putting pressure on my intestines. I've had ALL the gastro tests, because I had SO many gastrointestinal problems and it won't hurt you to take the gas reliever. If the pain persists after that - go see your doctor.

it could be appendicitis..you should visit your doctor very soon to check it out.

It could be a running cramp, i always get them. They start on my lower left and work up then start to go down my right. Most people only get them if they drink or eat before the run.

I definately think that if the pain is bad enough you should see your doctor. It is most likely pain from a pinched nerve or so. Be careful how you turn and twist when lifting things. Depending on your size take 2-3 ibuprofen (200mg) 3 times a day for 3 days and see if it goes away make sure that you do it exactly 3 days not any shorter or longer.

There are many possibilities. It's not your appendix, so don't worry (the appendix is on the right). If you get it after you run, or during a run, it's just that you don't have very good endurance (I used to get extremely bad pains in my left side even when I jogged for too long, but they are gone now), also it could be menstrual cramps, it could be a stomachache, it could be growing pains (most common), it just depends. If it persists for a long time then maybe you should get it checked out. Oh! You may be lactose intolerant. I had horrific pains in my side all the time (I ate and drank a lot of dairy), but it never occurred to me that I could be lactose intolerant.
