Stool test?!

Question: so 4 a stool test they collected 3 things! 1 refrigreated, one with a liquid in it to b frozen, and one @ room temperature.. what does the one in the refrigerator and freezer mean??

They are looking for certain bacteria & parasites. Its just a way to preserve the sample until it can be tested.
