Bone issues?!

Question: I sit cross legged whenever i can, and that puts a lot of weight on one or both of my ankles.
when I stand up it's difficult to walk and sometimes takes a few minutes before the pain goes away, and yes I know, all I have to do is just sit normally, but it's not comfortable for me.

My question is:

Could this cause me problems as I get older? (I'm sixteen)

No. You are not heavy enough to do any damage, and the reason it hurts is because you are slightly stressing your joints.

You'll be fine, honestly. I even looked around and found nothing about sitting that way being bad.
