It does sound like a circulation problem....

You don't state whether you are a smoker or not, as that can have massively detrimental effects on your blood flow.

There are many possibilities for what might be going on here, so consulting a health professional is always a good idea. Are there other symptoms that you feel besides cold? Was your BF's place overly hot? I remember moving back to the UK after living in Singapore and it took my blood several weeks to regain the correct consistency for dealing with the UK winter (probably completely daft to move back in January!).

There are also supplements that can help improve the circulation, most notably:
Garlic (can be had in 'non-smelly' tablet or capsule form); Ginger - great for stimulation of the skin tissues and of blood-flow; Ginkgo Biloba - which is famous for also aiding memory improvement (chiefly coz it improves blood circulation around and through the brain); Cayenne - sometimes known as Capsicum (the botanical name is capsicum frutescens); Chilli peppers - not as a supplement, I don't think, but just add some to your food. Not only does it taste fantastic, but it improves your circulation, stimulates the metabolism and so can also help with weight loss!

--------------------------------------...
From what you have just added, it seems like you need to look at your diet, too. The avoiding meat thing is good, though as a veggie of 26 years standing, I guess I would say that! Don't mean to be a nag, or sound like your mom, but...... but you are going to miss out on valuable nutrients, vitamins and minerals if you live on crisps and breakfast cereals! Think that old '5-a-day' thing for fruits and vegetables (and potatoes in whatever form DO NOT COUNT!!). Add in some nuts and seeds (NOT salted peanuts!) and you should be back on your way again....

The lack of hunger may be linked to the feeling cold. Get checked out.

Sounds like a circulation problem. Try a visit to the doctor.

You, may be anaemic.

poor circulation, common in females due to periods and water retention

I'd suggest getting a small space heater and moving it around as needed

better go to your doctor to have it checked to be safe.

Anyway, if nothing is wrong then you can ask your boyfriend to embrace you another the layers of sheets. Maybe if both of you are naked, it gets more hot.

but seriously better have it checked. do you have a fever?

simple...you're lonely. you're not really cold, you just think you are.

I agree that you should talk to your doctor. One reason is anemia which could cause you to feel cold. If you feel cold all the time, including the daytime, this could be the cause. (Anemia is when you don't have enough iron in your blood.) If your hands and feet are the main parts that get cold, especially at night, this could be a circulation problem. Which some people have and there is nothing to be concerned about. But, if you have never had this before, it's a good idea to check it out with your doctor.

You may have low iron or other blood disorder.. Call your Dr. tell him or her what you have been going through.

I've noticed that many females lose body heat too fast. Try wearing a wind breaker outfit first and then apply the toasty soft stuff... hopefully the 'plastic-like' material will help keep the warmth inside. And I'm curious about your diet... do you eat enough protein... beef helps.

you did not tell your place.it,s extremely cold at present. Maybe, it,s time to consult a medical person

.......got to eat more.......and no fun time just for now....

I AM AFRAID IT COULD BE YOUR HEART IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. IT USUALLY HAPPENS TO OLD PEOPLE. I SHOULD SEE THE DOCTOR, YOU NEVER KNOW. REGARDS HAL

You may have a health problem, such as an underactive thyroid gland or may be anaemic... visit your GP anyway, you may find that there's nothing wrong, some people generally get hot or cold more easily than others (I get really hot!)
