It depends on what type of medication it is. I take Tylenol 3s to stop a migraine and they don't make me tired or dizzy so I can exercise. Often doctors suggest exercising as a way of reducing the pain of a migraine because it releases natural endorphins which help relieve the pain. To some extent I've found this to be true, however when I stop exercising I'm generally in more pain than I was at the beginning. Talk to your doctor or even pharmacist for their advice. You can also look up the Patient Information Sheet for the medication you are taking. Go to the following website and at the bottom of the page, enter the drug name you are taking and it will get you the info for that drug. http://google2.fda.gov/search?client=FDA...

My totally non-medical opinion is that if you feel you are capable of exercise then you probably are. Here is an interesting article on Exercise and Migraine. http://www.migrainetrust.org/module_imag...

Consult your doctor .Avoid exercise while taking medicine.

Magnesium can help for migraines.

You can find further information in a search for migraines + magnesium.
