Question: Ok, ummm I don't know how to say this cause I am kinda embarrassed... I want to know what the symptoms are for my period?? My breasts are developing and I have butt hair and I just grew like 2 inches and a lot of other things but I don't know if it has anything to do with my period? I don't have it yet and I am 12. I know different people have it at different times but I really want to be prepared.. help please!!

that means you are going through puberty but your period will be when you start to bleed from your vagina, it is sometimes a brown color, and sometimes red. you will also have cramping in your stomached. i started late when i was 15, so you might have some time :)
its just puberty talk with your mom its normal. I went through this when I was 12 just talk to your mom about it

Ok. How come you won't talk to your mother about this. This is something you would want to do or you could talk to your doctor and find out. If you want the real answer. Anybody can tell you anything as an opinion.
best thing for you to do is talk with a teacher that you like and respect or to talk with your school guidance counselor about what you are going through.
Symptoms for a period include: bloating (your tummy seems a little full all the time), cramping, and moodiness.
