I'm in EXTREME pain! Do you have any advice on how to relieve it?!

Question: I'm lying down on the mattress on the floor on my laptop (for those of you who are wonder how I typed this, & it's a struggle). A 1/2 hr. ago, I thought I just had minor gas, but it wouldn't come out. The pain got worse & worse, so I went on the toilet, & my stomach is in UNBEARABLE pain. Lots of both hard, solid & soft, liquid feces came out, but it hurt more & more each time 1 came out, without me even having to strain. I did the most I can do, & that was all that would come out. It still feels like I have some more left, but it won't come out. I'm not sure if I have to vomit or poop again, & I also have this feeling of needing to urinate, but that won't come out either.

All I had to eat yesterday was a small amount of oatmeal & a pack of Ramen noodles. I feel like I'm about to cry. I can't TAKE this pain! Do you think it's necessary for me to call 911 & go to the ER or do you think I'll be OK?

Sounds like you have a gastro bug. Keep your fluids up - make up a litre of water with 2 teaspoons of sugar and a big pinch of salt and sip it slowly. If it hasn't eased by tomorrow go to the doctor.

Sorry i cant help u with the relieving part. But i think you should at least have someone accompanying you just in case of an emergency, i.e. when you fainted and no one there to help you. Or you can see a doctor right now.

You should definitly go to the ER if you can drive or call an ambulance. I'm not a doctor, but it might be appendicitis or gull stones? My friends appendix burst a few years back and he was really close to dying - and he went to the hospital right away. And my Mom had Gull stones and had to go to the emergency room right away. It wasn't life threatening at the moment, but they told her the pain would have gotten worse and worse.

Don't mean to scare you, but, at the very least, call the emergency room or a doctor and get an oppinion - it could be worse than you think!

Are you in America? If so, ambulence rides are expensive. You should try to get a ride to a walk-in clinic. They're a lot cheaper than going straight to the ER. Usually they can work out payment plans or base fees on a sliding scale based on your income. Plus, ERs are usually busy with people who have real emergencies, like they got shot or an 18 wheeler ran over their car while they were in it.

Call 911 Now! don't worry about the cost.

This doesn't sound good, get a friend or family member to drive you to the er, if you don't have someone around to do that, then call 911, and request an ambulance, you are in no shape to drive yourself to a doctor....could be an infection, or parasites or appendicitis or something, but I sure hope you get it checked out right away.....

something similar happen to me before. move around and don't sit down for long periods of time because it will help your bowels go. be careful of what you eat, that can have a big impact on your digestive system.

Honey, go to the ER. That sounds dangerous. I am sorry you are broke and cannot get stuff to make you feel better, but I don't think you should go out and do that anyway. Call an ambulance or call your friend to take you to the ER.

EDIT: I see that I have answered this question too late. You posted it seven hours ago. I certainly hope you are alright and got the help you need.
