If a person is allergic to deodorant, how does he/she keep his/her underarms fre!

Question: Do you wash them 3 or 4 times/day? If not, how do you get rid of the odor? I'm not sure if I'm allergic to deodorant, but I've been having painful boils under my arms lately.

Talcum powder.
And sensitive skin deodorant.
There's also this spring water my Mum uses. It comes from a special spring and has special bacteria that kill the germs.
Looks just like water
Called "Crystal Spray"

They dust them with baking soda instead.

Your boils could be due to your shaving technique. Never use a dull razor for starters, or never use the same razor twice. Try waxing instead.

First find out if its just the scent you are allergic to, if it is there are some fragrance free options on the market. i had a friend with this problem once. good luck oh i almost forgot sometimes it could be a combination of just shaving and then putting on an irritating deoderant so try to experiment with this, maybe shave the night before you put the deoderant on. ;)

I t might be that there are different active ingredients. Pay attention to which one you were using and try using the other one.

im not sure where u buy it but there is this crystal deoderant u can buy that is alot better for u. and normal deodorant actually blocks peoples sweat glands ion their armpits so it tends 2 make u sweat more..

use perfume that u like i have to do that sometimes and people cant notice that u had to use perfume

You need to go see a doctor and ask them about it...It might be something TOTALLY different from what you are thinking...

I am allergic to it and at one point in time they had a product called the rock. It is hypoallergenic but it didn't work. You can use lotion or powder on your underarms. I do. i tend to use a deoderant and change every three months due to hives. They don't show up right away for me. I get like boils. i also clean them with rubbing alcohol. It is an allergy but it is caused from irritation from something. Try that, changing deoderants, cleaning with alcohol, and the rock.

This may sound strange, but it works! Spray some air freshner in your underarms and you'll smell fine!

Painful boils under the arm sound like ingrown hairs from shaving to me.

I have had that happen to me on occasion, too.

The best thing to do is to make sure you change your razors often enough.

If it is an allergy of some kind, you could try Tom's of Maine (among others) deoderant. It' doesn't contain the same kind of ingrediants found in regular deoderants.

And, there should also be some hypoallergenic deoderants on the market.

But, to me it sounds like an ingrown hair problem.

There are hypoallergenic deodorants available. Tom's of Maine makes them.

there are different kinds. Arm & hammer is especially different. People who have survived cancer use it.

you should buy this one type of deoerant its called dryroll? and it un scented but keeps you smelling fresh it's usally the achool in the frangrance that breaks you out or have some type of algeric reaction

Use an internal deodorant that deodorises your perspiration odours before they come out of your pores.

A table spoon of high strength liquid chlorophyll every day is the answer.
