HELP!!! everything tastes wrong?!
Question: i also have a heightened sense of smell.. i can't eat anything, because it tastes like the contaoner it was in. my husband made choc chip cookies, ge sez they are good, my 4yr old loves them.....to me they tasted like machinery and all i can smell now is oven.

That is a horrible thing -- to taste the machinery. Yuck.

Pregnancy just popped to my mind as a possible reason. If you are not pregnant, you should call your doctor and see what she says. That is weird.
Has it always been like this or is ti just recent? I don't want to scare you but sudden changes in taste and smell can be related to brain tumours so I would go to see a doctor if I were you. Or maybe you need an electrician to check out your oven.

I'm thinking pregnancy too, that's very similar to what happened to me during both of my pregnancies. Take a test and find out. Best wishes!
