A burning sensation in my stomach?!
Question: most of the time it's like my lower abdomen and it burns really bad. a friend told me it might be a stomach ulcer? there's like a faint burn all of the time, but it gets really bad after i eat or drink anything.
what causes a stomach ulcer?
i mean...i used to be bulimic...does that have anything to do with it?
please help.

Ulcer is a good bet.
Maybe it's just indigestion, or heartburn? Maybe you just need a tum
probably from being bulimic, it wreaks havoc on your insides. Go to the doctors and get that checked before it gets worse. Sounds like stomach acid
it may be a stomach ulcer or just your stomach muscels reacting

take peptol bismol and maybe youre still not eating enough or it depends did you just come back from recovery maybe thats y ure stomach isnt used to having food so it burns itll pass
I just tore a muscle in my lower tummy and gosh it felt like it was on fire. If if gets worse go to the hospital I did I just got better and it has been 1 week and a half,but I still cant't pick stuff off the floor. Hope you feel better soon,,
If it's an ulcer usually your stomach burns when it's empty. I have the same problem and just went for an ultrasound on Thursday...haven't heard back yet. Try some antacids..they may help until you find out what is causing your problems. Try looking it up on the internet, that's what I did and you can find out quite a bit of information.
I had the same thing happen to me.
I ended up having gall stones. Even after surgery, I still
have this burning pain every now and then. I take zantac 150 for the pain.
I would really consult a dr about your problem. This is VERY painful and should be taken care of professionally. It could be something serious....don't let this issue go without seeking help.
Your dr will treat you as needed.
