Cause they dont have dihydrotestosterone in the large amounts men do...if at all im not sure. Thats the chemical that causes it in men anyway
most males get it, but in rare cases women do. its hereditary if the mother's side of the family has it.

the sign of men going bald is a lot of hair on the brush and has for women going bald we do i am going a bit bald and my hair is getting thinner
One therory I read concerned the amount of oestrogen in the drinking water supplies, due to the number of women that are on the contraceptive pill. It dosen`t affect women but can have various effects on men, baldness being one.
