The growth hormones are most active during the period from 12-17 (or 18 years) when maximum growth happens. This is also the time when most teenagers not only grow taller but also hit puberty. You need to eat a lot of proteins and also ensure the right balance of vitamins in your daily intake of food to facilitate the proper and balanced growth.
