Questoin for doctors out there?!
Question: say i need an apandictomy, thats most likely my problem im going to the doc today to figure that out, but from research thats around 70% positive thats my problem with symptoms and all that, but my main question is will i be gettin surgery soon? how long will i have to wait? days? a week? or will they do it today?

Do you mean a possible appendectomy? As in, you've got appendicitis? Your belly hurts........really, really bad. Fever, vomiting? If you do have appendicitis, there is a good chance you'll be scheduled for surgery right away. Now days, it's a simple procedure done laparoscopically (via belly button), and a patient can typically go home the same day or be kept overnight for observation if the appendicitis was advanced requiring the need for IV fluids and antibiotics. Recovery is a piece of cake - I was back to normal in a few days. Good luck.
Normally done as an emergency procedure, an appendectomy can also be done laparoscopically if diagnosis is in doubt. recovery is usually about three weeks but it varies in each individual. I'm guessing since you are not in any acute pain or in need of emergency surgery, your procedure should probably get done within a few days.
I am not a doctor so my answer is based on general assumed knowledge according to your post.
That all depends on how busy the OR is in your hospital and how bad you are feeling...sometimes they can wait to do the surgery and other times they need to do it right away...
If the OR is backed up, and depending on where you live...it just might be....you may have to wait...however, they will take you in and admit you so at least that part will be done...
