I find someone unconscious and his airways are blocked. What do I do to clear hi!

Question: First you have to call 911. After that open their mouth and use your finger to check and make sure that there isn't anything in their mouth restricting their airways, like vomit. Then you need to start CPR until a paramedic reaches you.

Edit: If the person has choked on something and -that- is the reason their airways are blocked and they are unconscious, then you need to start the Heimlich maneuver.

Editx2: When my grandfather had a heart attack in front of my dad, my father immediately called 911. All you have to say is: "I'm at such and such address and there is someone who just had a heart attack. Send an ambulance!" then repeat the address one more time. It takes 2 seconds, literally. I worked for the police department my dad called, actually. After that he immediately started CPR and had to clear my granddad's airway because he had vomited.

Hahaha, he is standing in front of you choking to death and you say "wait up, I am just looking for my phone"... as he turns deathly blue, and dies...

Do as above but start CPR 1st then call 911. If person was choking & is unconscious 1st put them on their side clean out any obstructions in their mouth. Be careful not to push something further down. With them on their side hit them hard with open palm between their shoulder blades. Do several times. Then start CPR.

With a baby lay them over your lap head down & not too hard hit between shoulder blades after clearing any obvious obstruction like a little toy.

It would depend on whether the person is an infant, child, or an adult. In addition, even though you mentioned " his airways", there is a different technique for pregnant women and, then there is a way to perform self Heimlich Maneuver.. You are referring to the Heimlich Maneuver, which can be used on conscious or unconscious choking people. But, the technique would be different. Your question would really require quite a detailed and lengthy answer. Here's a web to get you started:
