Egg = Stomach pains?!

Question: Every time I eat egg, I get very bad pains in my stomach after about an hour, which usually lasts for hours.
And yes im sure its the egg that causes it.
I wouldnt Have thought I was allergic as Ive been eating egg since I was a kid and never had any trouble before? This has only started happening in the past 6 months.

Im not really worried, just curious if anyone has experienced this before?

You don't have to be born with an allergy to egg to have one later in life. I would suggest you try to stay away from egg and go to an allergist. When I was at my daughters allergist I mentioned Soy gave me a tummy ache. She said it was an "intolerance" and that I should try to avoid it as much as possible.

You can develop an allergy to anything at any time in your life. If I were you, I would stop eating eggs until you have a chance to go get an allergy test done.

how funny...i eat eggs my whole life and more when i was pregnant..after i had my daughter i seriously get that pain in my stomach but i instantly throw up...i have noticed that avoiding eating the yolk helps alot to avoid it..everyone laughed at me in my family because they saw me eating eggs all the time before and thought i was making it up...until one morning at the breakfast table when i grabbed the trash...its almost immediate!!!!

Are these eggs you kept in the refigerator and prepared yourself, or in a particular restaurant? Sometimes you never know what sanitary conditions are elsewhere (salmonella?). Once when visiting our factory in California, our Mr. health east coast salesman was having some sort of whole wheat nut pancakes, and asked "Are these nuts supposed to have legs?" (they didn't charge for his breakfast).

At one IL restaurant people got ill from grilled onions regularly left on the grill overnight.

However, my sister, who I don't recall having any problems with milk or eggs growing up, has become allergic to milk and dairy products (including eggs). As kids we all drank milk with meals, and had eggs regularly. But now certain foods make her skin dry and scaly, maybe hives that get like dried blisters. So she avoids those foods.
