Sunburn question?!


Question: i went on a sunbed for the first time yesturday for 10 minutes (which i have now found out is incredibly stupid and wont be doing agian!)

my boobs stomach and chest a quite red today.

i have meduim skin tone and usually tan quite well, with a little redness.

how long before the red goes away?
will it turn brown?

basically will i look red on tuesday night?

Yes, the sunburn is completely normal. It was your first time in a bed so you should have gone in for only 5 minutes or so, but since you went in for so long the burn will stay there for three days or so..just keep your skin moisturized..and yes it will turn to tan, and then you'll look great and you'll go back again and again...i said i wouldn't go back after the first time i got burned...but i find myself there quite often

I stupidly got really badly burnt on a sunbed a few years ago too,it really hurt!I am afraid you might still be red for up to a week,as for getting brown it deppends on your skin type...

Use a moisturiser cream to make sure your skin wont crack or peel . prolonged use of sunbeds can lead to skin cancer

If you have medium to olive skin then it will probably turn into a tan pretty quick. My skin is like yours and if I slightly burn it is a golden tan the next morning.

i did this too..vinegar is the best thing to put on your skin..it takes all the burn out and stops most of the damage..should be ok in three days
