Innies and Outies??!

Question: What causes some people to have innies and some people to have outies???
is it hereditary? or is it the way the doctor cuts the umbilicord.

it is genetic. if your parents or anyone in your family has in outie you may have one to and same with an innie. Innies are more popular though.

The way the cord is cut. I had some surgery and had reconstruction over that area. The plastic surgeon noted that I had an outie, and ask if I wanted another outie or an innie. I now have an innie.
