Try to always put things in the same place, and take a min to look at them after you set them down.
After doing this for awhile you will train your brain to pay better attention to where you are putting things. (this can also help trian your photographic memory).
Also if you lose something, take a stress free min to give your brain a chance to remember where the object last was.

get yourself an iron suit and magnetise all your belongings.

OMG I HAVE THE SAME PROB let me know wen you find a way ok email me

lol, i understand, i have a pencil in my hand one min. then the next its gone, lol its hilarious but frustrating, well i guess being focused... wouldn't really help but try keeping track of the things,

Put things that are related to each other in some way, in the same area, and split them into sections, like one section for clothes, one for books, toys etc. Each section could be a separate drawer or cupboard. That way you will only have to remember where each section is, not where each individual item is.

the better way to avoid losing is not haivng...hehe..u shud keep in mind olways dat 2day i'll take good care of ur things .wenever u leave any place just hv a little eye on dat place..keep worthy things in ur bags...n wen u r abut to leave a place hv a hand on ur pocket n purse n things where u keep ur things n make sure dat u hv every thing contact....b a little concious

Have a certain spot for your important papers in your home. Bills, etc. Same with one spot for your keys. If you wear glasses, same thing. Or, not more than 2 different locations for keys, glasses, etc.
I have hung my keys on the nail I have hung my calendar on to be sure to know where they are, and quick to grab on the go.
I have my glasses in the livingroom, by the chair I usually sit in to watch tv.
I have lost things enough to the point that I decided to place items in one place. Then I know where they are. However, if I take my glasses off in another room, the trick is to remember to place them in the livingroom where they belong for the night, or remember where I put them last. The livingroom is the ideal place for me.
Hope this helps you. Take care.

OK, if you are losing all your pens, it's probably that I am accidentally stealing them. And lighters. No, I know what you mean. I have the same problem!!!!

You have to mentally inventory the item. Like, I used to forget where I parked my car when I came out of the store. Now when I park it I take note of how it lines up with a store and no more searching for my car! At home, I find that I can keep track of things that I hang up on the wall better than things that get buried on my desk so I have hooks for my purses, keys etc. Important mail (ballots, bills, appointments) get pinned up on a huge bulletin board. I hope this helps you, it's helped me.

tie every thing you own to one very long piece of string, when you need to find your item, just follow the string and hey presto there it is (eventually)
