Last time you were at a doctor???? Do you have any type of diabetes ????

you may have bone spurs. see your doctor.

Well... i would say it caused by your shoes lacking arch support. However if it is a sharp pain on the under side of your foot it is definitely a muscle and you need to a. Stretch it (this is what i do) or b. Wear shoes with arch supports ( this a good idea if you have to walk every day). Also, if you have grown attached to you shoes and don't want to replace them with running shoes or orthopedic shoes then buy some cheap gel sole liners. you can pick some of these up for much less and they do an equally impressive job. Hope this helps. Oh and by the way, not wearing shoes is not a cure all way to relieve foot stress, however it can help.
