Problems giving Blood!?!
Question: Today I gave blood, and I couldn't even fill half the bag. My Dad recently started having the same problem. I was totally hydrated and I'm at an ideal weight for my height and age. What's the deal? Should I give blood again?

I had this problem too. people were laying down and filling up bags one after another right next to me, and all I could give was half a bag. I fought with the nurse right before, I think she purposely missed the vein.
I wouldnt stop trying. The nurse probably messed up and didn't want to stab you again.
You are doing a good thing, don't stop.
You should tell your doctor. Maybe it is a clotting disorder.
I have the same issue. And I have no idea how to solve or change it. I have gone three times and since have given up. I can not even get half a bag either. It does not make me feel weird at all...just I can not give much before I stop pumping. I guess it has to do with body chemistry or something. Who knows. You can try another time, but I have had no success.
Giving blood is a great thing to do I cant because I dont meet a criteria, but I think if you cant you cant you tried
When I give blood, they have the same problem. I take an aspirin 2 hours beforehand now to keep the blood a bit thinner. My blood clots too fast, which is good that I don't bleed a lot, but sucks at times like those.
Be sure to ask before you do what I do. Some banks won't take your blood if you have had any medication in 24 hours. Mine does.
ne, i was just learning about this thing at school, u probally just dont have enough blood yourself. that's why u should not give it away. though its very generous of u tu donate blood but take care of urself first

Don';t give blood in a short while...give ur body a rest....did u give it often?
