Best medicine for headache?!
Question: I've tried ibuprofen, sudafed, tylenol sinis congestion pain, nothing will work. I've had this headache since about 10am yesterday. I have a cold, so that's why, but what's a great medicine that will work? It's fine when I'm lying down, but everytime I get up, I feel like I'm going to fall over. I have to work tomorrow, at a daycare, so any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Also, what do you eat when you're sick? I had a piece of toast and half a glass of orange juice today. I just can't eat/drink. My stomach growls and everything, I'm hungry, but I just can't do it. What's the best thing to have?

Chicken noodle soup and drink fluids....Ibuprofen maximum does you can take is 800mg, so increase you dose if taking a lesser...Try aspirin to, it works great for me...Try that, and if nothing works see your doctor.
Sounds like the headache is from your sinuses. Probably a decogestant would work best. Maybe a hot shower will help get your sinuses to start draining and releive the presure. I would try to eat some soup, pudding, jello anything you dont have to chew much becuase I have a feeling you are pretty stopped up.

I know your young...but three shots of Wild Turkey, two glasses of water, and a 1 inche slice of French bread works pretty well. Then take a nap. Then two more glasses of water and/or grapefruit juice.

It may be that simple quiet and relaxation will begin to ease the pain. That means STOP getting up. Soup is the usual doable choice for eating when sick, and maybe some hot cocoa made with real cream.
Gatorade and Advil usually help me out in both situations. The electrolytes help me with the cold, and staying hydrated helps with the headache. I hope you feel better.
