Awkward medical question?!
Question: Okay, so this is pretty gross, but I've looked online and I don't really know what's wrong. Whenever I go to the bathroom, I have bloody mucous or something coming out when I feel like I need to defecate. I had my period last Tuesday and it lasted only two days and then this started up. I had a urinary tract infection around the first also. I've been having this since Thursday most times when I go to to the bathroom, and I'm wondering if I just need to wait or do anything about it. Thanks.

The alteration in the length of your menstrual cycle is most likely the result of your bacterial infection. A large percentage of UTI's are caused by bacteriem that have migrated from the anus and into the urinary tract. The presence of a "bloody mucous" suggests that a bacterial infection is also present in the colon. Don't wait to seek the advice of a physician.
i would go to the doctor a.s.a.p.! don't wait any longer, because this doesn't sound like something that will go away on its own.

I'd go to your doctor just to be on the safe side, you can never be too careful could be some kind of infection or could just be a funny period.
You should see a doctor as soon as possible! This may not be as serious as it sounds but you should make sure.
Girl,Bloody mucous is not the norm.Your menses has nothing to do with it.Urinary tract infec.can be because of many things.The urethra and anus are close together so has there been contact with another person and have you been on antibiotics lately?Go see a doc.Its probably nothing, but your peace of mind is worth alot.Take care
if this is coming out from rectum then this may be piles gragdeII.if from vagina its OK.
U could have a internal polyp or hemorrhoid that is bleeding, u should get a baggie and get a sample and take it to your Dr. The reason I tell u that, I had to do this to prove to the Dr. it was happening.
