Hey, don't need to worry at all. I had this all the time, and I was very scared too.

I went to the Doc's, and told them when I get up from sitting down or sleeping for a while, I will go dizzy.

They told me I was just dehydrated, and I needed to drink more water... a lot more water.

Also, your blood sugar may be low. Are you taking in your normal intake of sugar? Try eating more fruits, and drinking more water.

If this still doesn't help after about a 3-7 days, go see a doctor. It could be something different, or maybe you're doing something wrong in your diet, and they can fix that.

Hope this helped!

It's your blood pressure, probably. Try getting up slower. I've heard that this problem is fairly common.

Could be due to low blood pressure.
See doctor

Hi and hope you are sitting down.Your blood pressure is too low and gets lower when you stand up.Have blood work done and eat salty foods and more H2O.[request at next Dr.app. that nurse or primary dr. takes your BP while standing, sitting and lying down-not nec. in that order-Try watching"house" - great tv Doctor movie[.I am a homecare nurse and am not "practicing medicine] Take care

it is called orthostatic hypotension-low bp .
Just get up slowly dont worry lower is better than too high

This is not normal. This is caused by the blood pulling and your blood pressure. I get dizzy frequently and pass out every so often. I have what's called Dysautonomia (I have both Neurocardiogenic Syncope and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). I was diagnosed after seeing a cardiologist and having a Tilt Table Test done 7 years ago when I was 15. I grew up with symptoms though, pre-syncope (blacking out), although I didn't start fully passing-out until I was about 14, and that's when things became more frequent for me.

You can somewhat test yourself for POTS. Here's an article about it:
http://dynakids.org/Documents/POTS_Stand...

To learn more about Dysautonomia visit this great resource (not just for kids):
http://www.dynakids.org/

If you have any (mixture: a couple, some, or most) of these symptoms, it maybe a possibility:

Tachycardia (extremely fast heart rate), bradycardia (slow heart rate), palpitations, chest pain, dangerously low blood pressure, wide swings/sudden drops in blood pressure, orthostatic intolerance (the inability to remain upright), excessive fatigue, exercise intolerance, dizziness, fainting/near fainting, gastrointestinal problems, nausea, insomnia, shortness of breath, anxiety, tremulousness, frequent urination, convulsions, cognitive impairment, visual blurring or tunneling, and migraines.

Try drinking LOTS of water/gatorade and eating lots of salt. This keeps your blood volume up and the salt helps you retain the water.

...Now I'm not saying you have this. But this is one of the leading causes of people being dizzy, especially while standing. But it's not well-known, so I hope you'll check it out. It's also possible you are showing signs of being, or becoming, diabetic or just have sugar level problems.

It also helps to know your age. This is very common among kids/adolescents and women who have just had kids, or women going through menopause. Although it can happen to anyone, including males.
