Have you analyzed your diet yet? Start by eating cereal or oatmeal with fruit for breakfast. Eat whole wheat breads instead of white. You may be getting too much iron in your diet as well, which would mean you're eating too much red meat....limit that to two to four meals per week, and start eating chicken and fish instead. You're probably not eating enough fruits and vegetables either.
I would think that exercise would help too, but you really need to evaluate your diet.
I suggest high fiber foods, lots of water and walking. Good luck. Avoid laxatives as it will cause the bowels to become dependant.
