Can someone help me through this depression stage?!

Question: right now i've been down for 2 days so far..(not usually me) and i know its unusual because it just appeared out of nowhere. im not laughing anymore and not talking as much (oh im 15 by the way) . but i Believe that i know what it is. i was always told that going to bed late one night can mess up your day tomorrow. and im at the point where i only have 20 minutes to get ready to catch the bus for school. So is it that im not getting up early enough for school that im always tired and down all day be the problem? im not looking forward to being this way tomorrow so can someone give me some advice on what should i do to cheer myself up?

There is a book I love. It has a dorky name. It is called "Feeling Better, The New Mood Therapy" by David Burns, MD. Dr. Burns is a Stanford psychiatrist. He gives clear cut, proven ways to help you feel better. He helped invent Cognitive Behavior Therapy. If you can't buy the book, look him up on the internet.

Good luck! These feelings will go away.

It might be a case of winter blues, aka winter BLAHS. or could be a lack of sleep or also you can feel exhausted for TOO much sleep. depending on age, weight, diet and exercise regime you need 7-9 hours of sleep each night, and no extra cat naps in the day. If you drink soda that can mess up your sleep and so can what you eat. Beware of overly fatty or sugary foods. they can effect your mood and energy levels. Good luck!
