What do you believe is the most successful or best smoking cessation (quitting s!

Question: As a smoker of many years and a explorer of the available cessation "programs" I offer my personal BIASED opinion. I have "explored" (because I am still smoking) many "programs" from hypnosis, cold turkey, patches, gum the list goes on....I have come to my own personal conclusion that none of them work UNLESS "you" are ready and WANT to quit. If you are ready and WANT to free yourself from this "habit/addiction" it is MY experience that the most helpful program for me was "the pill" I recommend you research "chantix" it actually blocks the receptors in the brain from the nicotine "reward" I used it, it worked, I went from a four pack a day habit to ZERO cigarettes in less than two weeks with no adverse side effects, and the ONLY reason I resumed my "habit" was my conclusion that I really did not WANT to eliminate smoking from my routine/life. In closing, I hope I am getting my point across, as long as you are convicted in your desire to eliminate smoking from your life, it can be done. As for my "program" that was successful, Chantix did what it claimed to do. I on the other hand found the psychological connection with smoking to be stronger than my physical addiction. I hope you have the psychological DESIRE to eliminate nicotine, and find a "program" that works for you.

Without a doubt, nicotine gum. I tried everything else, and finally was able to quit 8 years ago using the gum.

They are all good and bad! Try stoping on your own...tell yourself that you don't need them. Also try flavored toothpicks which helped me stop! Remember this: Smoking kills! Good luck :O)

I have to say the most successful FOR ME was Chantix.
9 mos. now since I smoked!!! YES!!!!!

Chantix worked fro me. EVERYTHING else failed 13 weeks with out a smoke.

I cured myself and I bet you can cure yourself too from this bad habit with this natural product I found out:

It's all in your head!! I was a smoker for 20 years!! I am am just into my 1st smoke free month. I have tried everything before to no avail!! I am using the patch but I must say that I was and am ready and I want it!! It's no different than an alcholic. No one can make him\her quit unless they WANT to. Sure medically you can be told that you will die if you don not stop but unless YOU are ready than nothing happens. I did also try another suggestion that helped this time. I started a month befor I stopped by over and over telling myself that I don't smoke. Every time I lit up, I would say "what am I doing? I don't smoke!" Does that work?
I will let you know in another month!!
