it is a natural sugar so your body metabolizes it easier. If you eat local honey it can help build you immune system against allergens in your area. it has antioxidants and also a natural antibiotic proberties. My children eat as much honey as the want that was made from the pollen of the trees and flowers in my backyard.(my landlord used to raise honeybees)

I always thought that honey was good for you, especially when you're sick and you add honey in your herbal tea. Honey tastes good and does have antioxidants, which are good for you!

Honey is rich in anti oxidants and is better at relieving cold symptoms than many Over the counter drugs

Of course the "label" will not show everything. They are only required to show "certain" contents. For the full disclosure of what 1 teaspoon of Honey contains, go to the link below.

You'd be surprised. That's why honey is good to eat and can heal many things, naturally. Honey is regurgitated food by the bees. They digest the raw materials (pollen) and make it into this delicious sweet mother of sweetness, liquid gold, food for the Gods. I grew up with honey. When I hear the song "honey in the morning, honey in the evening, honey at the supper time" I smile and I KNOW the feeling. Except the singer was not referring to bee's honey. LOL

It's nutritionally similar to sugar, but it's more likely to cause cavities.

However: "Some nutrition experts say honey, unlike table sugar, contains small amounts of vitamins and minerals and that honey can aid in digestion. Researchers are currently looking into antioxidant levels of honey to see if they also can improve one's health."
