Severe acid reflux can be characterized by vomiting, and it can be exacerbated by stress, and it can be accompanied by halitosis (bad breath) - however, it's OK to tell the guidance counselor about your concerns and let her/him determine if any action is needed - I'm sure you'll be allowed to remain anonymous if you wish.

If her acid reflux is so bad that she's vomiting from it, she should be on medication to manage it (not just over-the-counter stuff) and under the care of a gastroenterologist.

well alot of people may throw up from being really nervous. anxiety can make your stomach upset too so if she has to take meds its okay if she gets sick. alot of people get sick from their meds even if its not for stomach problems.
what you can do is make sure she's eating a healthy diet

if she's your true friend go to guidance and ask for help. if there is a problem, you're going to regret not getting her help later. i'm not gonna lie and say she won't get mad because she might, but would you rather lose her for a while and have her eventually realize oyu did what was best and forgive you, or not get her help and have it turn out to be something really wrong, have her get really sick, and lose her forever?

I would recommend that you tell someone a.s.a.p. You can write an anonymous note to your guidance counselor or to her mom. But please tell someone, if you suspect something then trust your gut. If your friend is bulimic then she will have esophagus problems and many other awful side effects. Please look at these websites - (info on eating disorders) http://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/p... - (info on how to talk to a friend if you suspect an eating disorder) http://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/p... - (How to support a friend with an eating disorder) http://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/p...
Just remember you can't become aggressive when you talk to her, let her know that you are there to support her, and please tell someone before it is too late!
