Does this sound like anemia?!

Question: Lately I've been dizzy everytime I stand up.
Sometimes I barely notice it,
but other times my vision blurs and I have to wait a couple minutes before i'm able to move.

I've been really tired all the time.
Today I had late start at school so I was able to sleep in, but by sixth period I could have taken a nap. [I go to bed between 9-10]

I have much more of an appetite.

It seems like it's more difficult then usual to breath when i exercise.

I've constantly got headaches.

Well I think it could possibly be anemia. What i would suggest is start taking a good multi-vitamin. At a minimum of a Theragran M. The key is to look at the side of the bottle and make sure it has Iron in it. Make sure you are well hydrated (drink 64 ounces of water per day), alot of people become dehyrdated during the day, and start getting headaches.

The other thing is to make sure you see a physician.

please have your eyes checked............maybe you could wear glasses.........always better to take a protein rich diet

i'm a vegan and i do too experience these symptoms. im not postive if they are a sign of anemia, but they might be. take vitamins daily & check with your doctor if you are reallly concerned

Not necessarily. Anemia can usually be marked by a change in skin color. However, I am anemic and have a few of those symptoms (at the same time, I have very little appetite and am an insomniac, and both of these are apparantly also signs of anemia.) I suggest you get a blood and eye test. You certainly have something; I'm just not sure it's anemia.

Meanwhile, rest when you can, avoid reading small print and looking at lit screens for long periods (also, remember to blink and, when not looking at anything, close your eyes.) Eat a lot, but avoid sugar--protein, iron, and vegetables (both carrots and leafy greens) are what it sounds like you need.

From what I read it's possible. Tiredness, weakness, and shortness of breath are common symptoms of anemia, but the others (headaches, appetiate, dizziness) aren't.

Your symptoms are very common symptoms of a multitude of problems. I'd suggest talking with a doctor.

Believe there is drop in yr hemoglobin level. Consult doctor and do a test. How old are you?
