No not all nurses are angels who love their jobs. Some nurses do it for the money. Just so you know, registered nurses are pretty well paid. Some nurses are great and loving and some are abusive to defenseless people. You must be in love with a nurse or something....

no because there are cases where nurses kidnap babies for ransom disconnect others from machines for no reason so they die and they treat u like a meatball lol when ure in the hospital

yes, and i would put EMTs on that list too. i had one save my life last november. Sharee, you rock! shes in my prayers for now on.

Most of them are. We should thank them every day.

100%

actually, im studying to become a nurse in college, i really appreciate that, some nurses dont have the best working conditions, but its something ive wanted to do

Not entirely.

Ah, very much agree with your views. It is very hard work

well they actually get paid pretty well.

But yeah, I love nurses. Women that are caring and want to help others- It doesn't get much better than that.

But then again, I have a nurse fetish. I have a nurse outfit for my gf that she's nice enough to wear for me on our special nights

I completely agree with you.

Dr. James Jeah MD

Yes! if you have ever been desperatley sick, a nurse is an angel. there to comfort you when your afraid and to clean up after when you sick.

I am with you 100%

And you're right about the money thing....unfortunately we lose many GREAT nurses to higher paying professions because the risk vs. payment just doesn't equal out.

The next time your loved one is in the hospital...stop by the nurses station with a small token of appreciation....cookies from the store or a fruit basket with a little thank you note. It will make their day! Thoughts like this are seldom expressed toward the nurses nowadays.....lets show them we appreciate everything they do!

I don't agree entirely. Nurses are paid pretty well, and if they aren't in it for the money they don't 'alf complain about it often enough. But given that, they do a good job.

nope

if it wasnt for nurses we would be lost. doctors would really know the meaning of overworked, and dentists would not have any second oppinion, nurses are one of the most professional occupations and may we give them the respect (AND PAY) they deserve!

I am a nurse and nursing instructor....I take my profession very seriously. I don't do it for the money, trust me, cleaning up stool, vomit, urine, blood is not a glamorous job. Taking pre-med science classes and managing to get a C or better not fun either. Risking your health and life for others is pretty high risk. Nurses do get paid decently but not what they are worth. These are experts who can tell by the color of your skin what is wrong with your body, they can catch life threatening complications before they occur, they will stay up all night holding your hand and making your life worthwhile as you die. These are true heros. Just as with any profession there are a few who are not proud of what they do and yes pateints are the ones affected but the majority are angels and guardians of your health and life.

99.9% are, but remeber there are the Beverly Allists of this world too.

Nurses' are under appreciated. Depending on which State they are employed, the pay isn' t as good as others seem to think. Nurse's are in the business of saving lives. Granted, there are some Nurse's that are not top notch but, this can occur in any profession. " There are bad apples" but, this is less common than the "good apples". Nurse's are overworked, stressed out, there is a major shortage of Nurse's. Do you people realize that there are over 700,000 Nurse's in the US that are not practicing Nursing !! Because, they are underpaid, under-appreciated, overworked, stressed out, and are forced to work crazy hours, shifts . This is why there is a Nursing shortage. If Nursing was a male dominated profession( no offense), then the situation would be quite different. Nurse's need good PR ( Public Relations) . If a female is assertive, then they are considered a B**CH but, if a male is assertive, they just being themselves. No offense but, people that cannot relate to the Medical Field, have no idea how hard Nurse's work, unselfishly because they are kind, caring, committed individuals. TV shows totally depict Nurse's that " hang out at the Nurse's station dealing with minimal tasks. Not a true picture of the actual medical profession. Only those that can relate to the Medical Profession or, have a loved one cared for, are realistic as to how difficult this profession is. Nurse's deal with others' lives and saving lives. They are their patients' advocates. Thank a Nurse the next time that you or a loved one is experiencing an illness or needs a surgical procedure.

Yes i agree.

I have been in hospital 4 x in the last 5 years. I thought that they were fantastic.

But why do you keep on about the Nurses for ?

All you ever talk about are Terrorists and Nurses..... What is the connection...........

Come on tell the truth you love them relay ...
