It's some type of back problem thing. It causes your spinal cord to...bend. I'm not completely sure.

Here's something from Google: When viewed from the back, the spine usually appears perfectly straight. In some cases, however, the spine is curved rather than straight. In addition, the vertebrae (the bones that make up the spinal column) are twisted. This condition is known as scoliosis.

A small degree of curving in the spine does not usually cause any medical problems. But larger curves can lead to certain disorders, such as posture imbalance, muscle fatigue, and back pain. Severe scoliosis can interfere with breathing and lead to spondylosis (arthritis of the spine; pronounced spon-dl-OH-siss).

About 10 percent of all adolescents have some degree of scoliosis. Less than 1 percent, however, require medical attention other than careful observation of the problem. Scoliosis occurs in both sexes, but appears in girls about five times more often than in boys. Scoliosis appears most often in adolescents between the age of ten and thirteen.

A disease with the back, when the spinal cord is slightly bent or well not straight
you get the point

I think its a disease having to do with your bones.

Curvature of the spine.

Abnormal curvature of the spine , usually in the shape of an S, sometimes requires surgery, sometimes not.

Curvature in the spine.

it's when your spine is all crooked
because you dont sit up straight

Scoliosis is an abnormal lateral curvature of the spine.

is it an itchy relative ?

scoliosis is is a back deformation were your spine grows incorrectly it can curve forward or sideways it isnt horrible bad it is bad for your growth and if you think you have it you should get checked by your doctor some cases are so bad you might need to get surgery

It is a curvature of the spine.

Scoliosis is a medical condition in which a person's spine is curved from side to side or front to back, and may also be rotated ... got that from wikipedia so....

Scoliosis is a curvature of the spine. Scoliosis comes in two types. Congenital scoliosis means that the cause is known. This is usually a birth defect; perhaps a vertebra is malformed.

Idiopathic scoliosis means the cause is unknown. Therefore, posture, leg length, gymnastics, carrying heavy stuff, etc., are not the causes.

As for how to treat scoliosis, let me give you a little info.

If you have a curve that is giving you trouble, you will need to see a scoliosis specialist. Any doctor that doesn't have a scoliosis specialty doesn't have the expertise to treat scoliosis.

Any curve under 10 degrees is considered normal and probably isn't monitored.

Curves from 10-25 degrees are mild but should be monitored, especially if you're still growing.

Curves from 25-40 degrees are moderate with bracing possible. You will need monitoring, especially if you're still growing.

Surgery may be recommended if your curve doesn't respond to bracing. Bracing will do no good if you're through growing. The purpose of a brace isn't to make your curve better, but rather to keep the curve from becoming worse.

Curves greater than 45 degrees is major. Surgery may be recommended. This depends on many things, but whether you're done growing, whether your curve is increasing, whether your heart and lungs are in danger of being squeezed by your curve, whether you're in pain, quality of life, etc.

Unfortunately, nothing can *fix* scoliosis. Surgery can keep the curve from getting worse, and in most cases, will reduce the curve but most likely your spine won't be straight (unless you are very flexible in the area to be fused, then you might be lucky). There are cases where the surgery is less invasive than other cases, but having the usual posterior incision isn't too bad.

Chiropractors, message therapists, acupuncturists, etc., also can't fix scoliosis. These people adjust the soft, connective tissues and that may (or may not, you can't tell ahead of time) make you feel better, but remember, scoliosis is not a connective tissue disease. Your spine is growing curved.
