If you were going in for mental health inpatient what would you bring?!
Question: Hey most place will not let you bring anything with ties or strings. You can bring clothes and your bathroom stuff. If they fell it is unsafe then they will keep it, until you need to use it or they will not let you at all. You can bring a small balnket. I'm not sure where you live, so i'm not a 100% sure. I would check beforehand to see what they allow you to bring. But if you happen to bring something that they don't allow, they'll hold onto it for you until you're discharged.
I guess I would bring an iPod, some books, change of clothing, etc. Pretty much anything I would take if I were going on vacation for a few days.

and maybe a mister potato head, just so you can talk to it in a british accent to really throw the doctors for a loop. laughter always helps in low spirit situations.
you wouldn't be allowed to have frames or clocks, anything with glass or plactic coverings or anything that can be used as weapon, as someone else said, check and see what is allowed.
